An exciting opportunity exists for a experienced C&I Engineer to join our prestigious client to work on decommissioning projects at their nuclear power station site near Bristol.
This site operates a 4 day standard working week (i.e. 37 hours worked in 4 days)
Ideally, you will be qualified to Masters level and already have Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MIET) and be equally comfortable considering fine detail and the bigger picture with the ability to communicate complexity with clarity.
Responsibilities of the C&I Engineer role will include:
* Construction and commissioning of new plant and equipment at defueling and decommissioning sites, as well as supporting ongoing generation at the last operating Magnox reactor in the UK.
* Undertake the Intelligent Customer and Design Authority roles for C&I engineering and champion leading edge technical knowledge and standards, whether acting as technical discipline lead or graduate mentor, you will take a proactive approach to developing talent.
* Bringing an extensive range of relevant experience to the role and have a comprehensive understanding of the C&I area.
* Naturally, power station experience is preferred
For the right candidate, our client can offer a salary of up to £68000 along with an excellent benefits package including 30 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, bonus and healthcare, as well as the advantages of a 4-day work week.
